The Pineville Tavern

Just moved my training to Thursday. I’d like to say it’s because I didn’t want to miss out on meeting @kcult or the chance to hold @gunbelt’s hand during the blessing for the meal...but it’s more because of the 90% chance of rain. :D

I don’t mind shooting in the cold...but no interest in the rain when here’s an opportunity to move it.

Noon on Tuesday, right?

Just checked to see exactly where the Tavern was. Have a couple things on my HF list as well. Will be an easy way to get a couple extra Christmas gifts. :D

If I have this correct, 314 N Polk Street in Pineville, NC is where we gonna be.
 
Will there’s be a table/room reserved?
 
I got my driver’s license in Pineville. I wonder if they’d let me back in town for a short visit?
 
I was going to try to make it but Murphy's law has it that’s the day the dealer is working on my truck...and Mint Hill to Pineville is a bit much to walk!

I was hoping a certain female character from Gunsmoke, and her dashing spouse might care to head that way from my neck of the woods and carpool, well truckpool, but apparently they have actual responsibilities tomorrow.

It’s just over a six hour roundtrip, the odds are long, but not out of the question.

Mighty kind offer—I appreciate it.My window to make it is very narrow with bookend meetings on either side of the get-together. Don't wan to be the guy who keeps one eye fixed on the clock the whole time followed by incessant nagging when it’s time to go!
