If cops can so it, script kiddies will be able to soon after. And it's bad enough that the JBT crowd can do it, never mind 12 year olds hopped up on redbull.
 
There is no such thing as a backdoor that only the "good" guys can access.

As the article says, self driving cars let all the bank robbers shoot instead of navigate and you'll have driverless bomb cars heading towards crowded spaces.

I can also see the corrupt petty politicians wetting themselves over the idea that robot cars will automatically hide themselves and issue revenue collection tickets to unsuspecting motorists, 24x7 without the need or cost for the pesky person.
