The Post - isn’t it ironic?

We rewatched this the night before Trump’s arraignment. Quite ironic to watch a movie about a Washington Post that valued investigative journalism, freedoms of speech/press and calling out a crooked, lying White House. They considered themselves part of the “checks and balances”.

Even more ironic that the WaPo of today is completely unrecognizable compared with the one depicted in the movie and the movie is being streamed by the company founded by the current WaPo owner. I wonder whether Jeff Bezos recognizes the irony.
