fixed it. pro4s are up next. that was the young gun race which makes sense about them being FWD in that race.

We've got Lucas Oil Speedway just a half hour from us. Pretty big/fancy place for a dirt track & even have a drag boat course. Neighbor says their bar & restaurant are both really good. Gonna hafta get out there soon. Ain't seen no good dirt racin' in over 30 years.

Sounds like a fun way to spend a saturday night. THis is only the second time in 25ish years watching dirt and first time with the wifey.
We all had fun.
How far are you from Pevely? Outlaw series goes through there. Those boys are bad.
Caraway Speedway here, no rye bread though.
They do the Farmington track as well. Which was my home track back in the late 80s growing up in MO.
Started in a 4cyl pinto at 12yo and in a super late model by the time I was 17.
'Bout 3 hours.
I used to work maintenance, along with the concession stand on race nights, at a NASCAR 1/2 mile dirt track my last two summers in HS. When the Outlaw Sprints came through, I got to work in the pits driving one of the start trucks. Too cool.
There were 2 sisters, 22 & 27 that were fine as frog hair & that'd slip me beers out the back door of the beer stand on break & then after the race, we'd chill in my care & reenact Spicoli's van scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Good times & one helluva gig for a teenager.
