These are children's books with a libertarian slant on everything from government to the economy etc.

I had looked at them a few times and thought about buying them but never pulled the trigger, wanting to read them first.

My father had someone give him a set, which he read, liked and then mailed to me for my son to read.

I'll read them tonight myself before I start having him read them, but based on what the old man said I have high hopes for these planting the right seeds in my son's head for his future.

Curious Chad, how old is your son?

Uncle Muzz (aka @MuzzerFuzzer ) was kind enough to send my son a collection of 5 of the Tuttle Twins books either for Christmas or his birthday, can't remember . Pretty sure Muzz actually went back and forth with the author a bit as well while he was ordering them for us. I have glanced over them but have to admit I have not started reading them to him just yet as he is only 6 years old.

Love to hear what you think of them. My feeling regarding them is in line with yours as well, especially with what I have read review-wise.

Oh, and Unka Muzz/Joe is one incredible man :) The depth of kindness and giving in this man's heart is simply amazing. I could start an entire thread on the things he has done for me and my boy simply because he wanted to.

I read them to my boys. They're pretty good.

What age/reading level are they?

I'd say that the words are easy enough for a smart second grader. My son is 7 and in second grade. I think he'll be able to read all but a couple words.

Understanding the content however may be a third or fourth grade level. But I can explain it to him now and have him read them again next year.

I'm going to grab these off the book shelf tonight. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks. I've got a couple years then before my oldest would be there. She just started kindergarten and is already reading. I think I was eating glue in kindergarten.

Got the set for my daughter last year for Christmas. She's in 1st Grade....I should get them out and read them and figure out when to introduce her to the series.

They came with some pdf workbooks too. If they're free to distribute, I'll post links.
