The Umbrella Academy

I'm stuck home this weekend and binged 5 episodes yesterday. I like it!

Saw the previews for it yesterday...looked interesting.
My kids wanted to watch Incredibles 2 so I didn't get to check it out any further.
But, I'm going to...

I’ll check it out when I’m done with the expanse.

I will say that it takes maybe 3 episodes to get past the setup and into the main story

Ok what’s is the chicks power and number playing the violin? You know the one pissed at Chris Pratt over gay-lesbian crap.....

Vanya, #7. You'll find out around episode 6.

Enjoying it so far. Very unique and unusual show...

Made it all the way to episode 6 before it went gay... Although they dress Ellen Paige like a lesbian the whole time even though she's playing a straight woman... Not the worst PC job on Netflix for sure...

Meh...the gay part isn’t over played or overtly “political”.

Just finished the season. I thought it was pretty good. Not a single surprising moment the entire season. So, if you need twists you won't see coming this one's not for you.

I will watch season 2 if it happens.

One of the better non-Marvel Netflix Originals. You do have the obligatory PC characters, but it isn’t central to the main plot of the series, so not an issue. It would be hard to find a more dysfunctional group of heroes, which made it more interesting to me. And it has lots of comedy.

Too bad none of them had the superpower of using their brain.

Would make it a boring, short series if all the characters made all the right decisions and everything turned out perfectly. The lack of critical thinking skills makes them more identifiable to the common viewer, like me.

Or the writer would have to make the problem more complex. You see who invented the concept though.

Fell asleep twice trying to get into this.

Keep having to go back to Frank Castle to keep me awake!
