Thinking about the past - motorcycle camping

Years ago while riding my bike to Key West with a group of friend, there was a couple with us that were planning on opening up a campground in Stecoach, NC (Kickstand Lodge). Right after they bought it Fred passed away and his wife keep it up and running. Her name is Mo. I have never stayed there but have ridden there twice, it has been years ago.
I was wondering if anybody has been there or stayed there. The website is still up and running.
Funny how you think about stuff when surfing different websites.

I haven’t but I am thinking about a trip to the dragons tail. It looks like it might be an option if the place is open.

It's still there. I don't know if the same folks still own it or not but it's there. I rode up that way last Saturday. Only made it as far as the Cherokee area and didn't go near Deals Gap! That place is crazy on the weekends and there are many roads in the area just as good and less crowded. I got 500 miles in by the time I got back to Charlotte Saturday evening.
