How To Prepare For A Red Flag Order At Your House



My takeaway from the article: "if your state has passed an ERPO law, depending on wording you're either f*cked or well-and-truly f*cked. Just give in, roll over, and don't make things worse for yourself because "law enforcement" is going to have its way with you regardless."

Bullsh*t!

My conclusion is different from that of the article. If your state passes an ERPO law, GTFO. Now. Whatever that requires. And take your life-saving tools with you.

IOW: if you can't Defy or Resist, then Evade. (Smuggling after the fact is optional.)

Thus endeth the lesson. (Yes, I have given this a lot of thought, for reasons very personal to me.)

You Thin Blue Liners are going to have to make a choice. Because the cops are the ones coming for your guns.

And they have no qualms and will not hesitate to kill you, your spouse, or your pets to get them.

Truth. I hope a large enough % of them say FU at some point. Otherwise there will be pain and suffering enough on both sides to make Islamic terrorism look good.

Not all cops are on board with these red flag laws either. Some will come but some will refuse that order.

Not all cops are on board with drug laws either, but they don’t write the laws, simply enforce them.

You may have faith in the sudden appearance of an independent moral compass when the object of prohibition is guns instead of a plant, but the overwhelming evidence suggests that if they will kill you over a plant because “it’s the law,” they’ll kill you over guns for the same reason.

Saw this posted on a different site a few days ago. Took the time to read the comments. Lots of interesting take away in them. More information in them than the article, which is more of a propaganda piece telling people to roll over, comply, and take it to court to lose anyway along with a major lawyer bill.

The major focus of it was on the need to have access to tools that “government” doesn’t know about. Obviously, this is a reflection of the long recognized reality that registration becomes confiscation. It suggests not only hiding and burying some (and there are ways to thwart metal detectors) and keeping them in places where their ERPO won’t cover. One wise comment mention having community tools, quietly stored somewhere that multiple friends and families have access. Discretely sitting in a box up in a hay barn for example. A note for those that would howl about how you’ll get hit with more stupid court orders for defying them or whatever .... when we’ve reached this point your laws, your orders, your judges, etc simply won’t matter anymore. Here’s why:

Here’s the big take away for as you put it, the thin blue liners, that willingness to kill you, your spouse, your pets, or worse doesn’t just exist on their side. Fixed fortifications are a monument to stupidity. It’s the fool who will stand off against the swat team, though likely there will be deaths on both sides as some prepared people will do just that. The fight will be brought to you, when and where you least expect it. I started to paraphrase comments from the TTAG site on how this would go down, but they’re graphic and I don’t want to bring that sort of attention here, especially in the open forums. The thing you need to know is that you will not be safe. You will have spent your career training to deal with criminals in a sea of a compliant populace that generally sees you as the “good” guy. That sea will now contain insurgents that look like the sheeple.

Please, let’s not go down this path as a society, as a country. These ERPOs or ‘red flag’ laws are just the latest volley that the gun grabbers have come up with. They’re dangerous. Hopefully wisdom prevails, even if it’s an unthinkable concession to the tyrants in black that power over people comes at too high of a price.

Sat on a CISD where an MCI patient was stabilized awaiting transpo, told to lie still, said, "I feel much better!", and sat up before the first responders could stop him. You can guess the rest. It's the perfect metaphor for our current status with our "government".
 
This is just another way to divide the population.
 
Just ask yourself an honest question.

“Am I ready to die defending my rights and freedoms?

If you are, plan accordingly and get your affairs in order, there are ways to properly prepare yourself but that’s another conversation.

If you’re not willing to die then you will have to accept living the rest of your days on your knees.

The rest of the conversation should be had among close friends and family should you choose to not live the rest of your life on your knees.

Hiding is a monument to stupidity of the same degree if not more. If they make the guns illegal this way and then manage to cut ammunition supply - then they will manage to reach their goals. Guns won't be readily available anymore neither for the defense nor even for training. And in just few years they would come and take you by bare hands. IMHO, silent disobedience is just the same way to surrender but complicated by additional efforts and needless legal risks.

In the same time if a "fool in stand off" would manage to have them pay just one red coat for a fool's life, then the government will run out of red coats faster than the nation will run out of fools. Just the rule of big numbers. And, I am afraid, the time, when every would have to decide whether to die or live on knees, is f...n close. :-(

So, yes, dying is stupid, but, sometimes, this is due.

If we get to this point, people can’t be sitting around waiting for the organs to come for them. They need to go on the offensive. Nobody won a war by defending.

Hopefully the stupids will shut up and stop, but I’m not holding my breath. I have no idea why the Democrat party started down this path of gun grabbing. They’ve forgotten the lesson of Slick Willy and their stupid “ban”on ARs.

They’re going to take this nation down the path of war.

When imposing your will upon others, you must remove the ability to resist.
There are enough individuals around, even here, that possess sufficient knowledge, skills, experience and capability to take the war to them. It will be ugly. But, I believe it will be an inevitable consequence. And not on a small scale. As someone mentioned, the numbers are there. With 393 million guns in America, how many do you think will get confiscated before the rest are turned on the confiscators. How may "red flag" scenarios gone wrong before others say, enough. It's a scenario the other side can't even comprehend, because they think they are right and that "everyone" is on their side.
It reminds me of the scene in Minority Report where Cruise's character says, "Everybody runs." You go to take away something from someone that the owner considers fundemental to their freedom, that the loss of such represents loss of freedom and loss of empowerment to choose in their life, and they will resist. It's human nature.

I need some close friends, what does one do when all they have is there immediate family, who seem to either refuse to believe the truth that's directly in front of their face? When those that are around you are trying to act like everything's fine?When the laws that are put into place, are already set against you? I'd rather stand and fight for freedom, but how do you find people who know and support the Real, True, and Supreme Law of the land. I guess when the fighting starts, I'll just have to pick up a dead liberals gun, whom supported tyrants and join in. I'll not bow before no other, my King... Is Jesus Christ!

True. And that seems to be something that the "legal" crowd miss. It has a couple of different implications. Chief amongst them is that legal doesn't mean right or moral but ordained by those claiming power over the people. Second, that when people want change and are willing to enact said change with physical force, legal becomes irrelevant for the reason you just stated.

On another venue, a few weeks ago, I advocated that Chatham county needs to split along HWY 87. The county has had too much influx from places like Chapel a Hill and Durham to where the sparsely populated areas are swamped out politically by numbers. The numbers are only getting worse as they try to make the area like the one they left. I argue that the rural portion needs to segregate with or without permission and stop paying homage to Piitsboto. A loud librul responded with a whole diatribe about how it wouldn't be "legal".

To be completely honest We have felons walking the halls of DC, sitting as a judge, and yes... Driving police cars and there's plenty of evidence to back up my claim. Yet they're still awarded the title, your honor, official, and such.

If you still think that ERPO is "just a few days of inconvenience", pay attention that this guy got involuntary hospitalization and, say, by NC law it would automatically disqualify him from a concealed carry license.

It is also good for those who still think that "thin blue line"(tm) will be on the side of law-abiding citizens.

TTAG has been blasting FB with the article non-stop for a couple weeks. It's been a steady drum beat of comply, comply, comply - listen to your masters. It's like Fudds have taken over as Admins.

The comments sections are always full of people making the same points folks are here: your Rights and your Liberty are worth fighting and dying for, against all those who come to take them, whether they skulk the halls of a legislature or show up to take them violently by force, be they a foreign army or those of the domestic variety.

Didn't TTAG sell out a while ago to Wide Open Media. Pretty sure they are masquerading as a "heartland" type company when they are really more of the same leftist/statist/globalist/silicon valley *****.
