Usually, it's not a problem but I am having hole to pin fitment issues on my cheap ass PSA 7.5" upper. The TD pin hole is fine. It's so tight that if I tap the pivot pin in with some lube, the gun will barely pivot on it, which is too tight for my tastes.

I tried to putting some rolled up sandpaper in there to create some clearance but it's still too tight and I have to remove it with a light tapping with a screwdriver handle.

I am contemplating putting a 1/4" drill bit in backwards in my drill and using the base of the bit with some polishing compound for a few seconds at a time.

Try chucking up a patch holder in your drill and spin a small piece of 600 grit sandpaper in the hole. I've had much better results like that than by hand.

Or do the same thing with some steel wool wrapped around a cleaning brush

If it were me I wouldn't alter the receiver, that's permanent. I'd alter the pin that's easily replaceable....
Chuck the pin in your drill and polish it up to fit as desired.... But that's just me.....
The problem is it's tight with multiple lowers and multiple pins, but yeah I see some wisdom in polishing the pin a little more

tight with multiple samples or lowers/pins, id hit the hole with sand paper or steel wool and oil like what was mentioned above. If the pin is the issue I would alter the pin. Just go slow and check it often for fitment, don't over do it.
