Tough start to Spring

my brother has been placed in nursing rehab. Home now. Heavy drinker alcoholic. Liver is shot as well. Copd and other lung issues. Heavy smoker. But he just doesn't get it. 75 years old and stubborn. If he continues to drink and smoke he be dead in six months.

Daughter now in hospital. Had to have a blood transfusion and total hysterectomy at age 43. That's her second blood transfusion was in recover for 3 hours. Couldn't do a breathing tube. Afaird if she had issues they couldn't get tube out.
First blood transfusion was at age 2 months. Devolped meningitis doctor gave a 30 day window too live. But she is a fighter

Complications with surgery.

Prayers that all is OK now. I know the feeling on your brother my grandfather and dad drank until....
 
I lost a good friend to drinking, two years ago. I still think about him a lot. Prayers to your family.

Last year I posted about my brother. March 5th at 5:10 pm he passed away and today we held his memorial service. Thanks to all who had asked and prayed for our family.
 
@Shooterb , sorry to hear about the loss of your brother.
