Toyota Corolla, anything better for commuter?

Another option I would look at is the Subaru line up. The cross trek or Outback. I get around 32 mpg in my outback and the all wheel drive is nice.

I vote Corolla. But you might look at a used Nissan Altima. I bought a '15 new, and have had to do nothing but oil changes and tires for 100k miles. They made an absolute ton of them so they're pretty cheap now. It gets 34 MPG average and close to 40 on the highway. I can fill it up and drive from Newport to the Buc-cees in Daytona FL on one tank.

ETA: I did brakes once too.

I drive a Kia Optima and I am 6’3. And drive on average 75 miles daily. It’s a 14 with just about 270,000 average is about 33-34mpg. Plenty of room in it for me.
We have one and I love it. We’ve had it get as much as 38mpg on a trip with a lot of front leg room and a nice big trunk for the dead hookers

Definitely good leg room and trunk room for sure. I have the non turbo and drive the turbo one. I am definitely glad I got the non turbo. Would be way to many tickets.
