Toyota Supra - looks like this is coming back

It was it of my price range back then. It will still be out of my price range.
Still a nice car though.

I bought a 1988 Turbo brand new, way cheaper than a ‘Vette and rode damn good. Even with the targa removed it was fairly quiet and comfortable for road trips. We’d run from Killeen to San Antonio via I35 and except thru Austin and it’s burbs we’d cruise at 80 mph easy and push it a little higher occasionally. When they redid in it ‘93 and added power while dropping weight it went crazy ... performance and price. I gotta wonder what this new generation will be ... wonder only since I’m to old, to married with kid and to poor to do anything more.

Hell, the Mk4 are still too expensive for me now
DECENT, not perfect, examples are still about 20k...

I’m looking forward to seeing this. The first car I owned was a Celica and my wish car was the Supra when it came out later.

My dad had this one and I totaled it on the boulevard in front of the holiday Inn Myrtle Beach. It had some good pickup and go! I believe it was a 6 cyl. There for a while anyway...Sorry dad.

I had a '79 model. I believe the engine was the 4ME. Straight drive, four wheel discs, sunroof. That car was awesome.

I had it for less than a month before something decided to leave the engine by exiting through the oil pan.
