Curious if anyone has tried one? I heard good things about consistent/very little shift and no blow back. Nobody really comments on sound suppression. Doesn't seem like they are moving very fast out of Leander - but I am curious...

My bad to bring back a post from three years ago but I was looking at the same suppressor recently and was wondering if anyone had recent experience with it.

Just picked one up last week - haven’t shot it yet. I am told a couple points about it.
- consistent POI
- gas blows forward, not back which is the largest benefit of design
- not as quiet as some other suppressors on the market

Thanks for letting me know. I have always had good luck with anything Larue but their can just doesn't seem to get mentioned much.

That is fine, my other rifle can is a surefire so I would imagine it is comparable.

No experience personally. But one of the guys I see on multiple forums and respect his opinion really likes his.

I talked to Mark Larue a bit via email - he had some questions about hearing loss, the 140dB threshold - why that number is what it is, etc and I have a publication in that area, and interest.

He said the military wanted that suppressor because some special forces guys were getting cancer and they were linking it to thousands of rounds with gas blowing back in their faces. Given all that those guys are exposed to - not sure how and why they made that link. Either way - blowing the gas forward was the big push for his suppressor.

I got the tranquillo and SUURG suppressor within a week of each other... looking forward to shooting them both. will let you know.
