The squirrels have done an excellent job of hiding deez nuts, but a horrible job of finding them.

Since cutting down over half my cypress trees, these things are loving the abundant sunshine and they are taking off.

It seems a shame to just pull them up, or mow or weed whack them.

Is it even worth trying to transplant these to another piece of property, or can we just trust the squirrels to keep mother earth covered up with them in the wild?

I've been trying to do that for awhile. I have one growing in a pot now that seems to be doing well. The others I've ended up cutting part of the root off because I didn't go deep enough. They died pretty quickly after that. Just make sure you dig deep.

I will say, looking at that pic, that one is gonna be hard. Its root is probably intertwined in the larger roots nearby. That's what happened to me. I hit other roots with the shovel and got impatient and then went more shallow.

You need another hobby, Bonsai could be it!

Because I think I know you, I'm not sure how to take this.

After almost 30 years with my wife, she still asks if I'm being sarcastic.

That pic is the best example. There are dozens more that are only a couple or three inches tall.

Different varieties, too.

I've also found whole and busted up pecans in that area, but haven't located a pecan tree near me.

trees are different to transplant - you must get as much or all of the tap root. Planting in a pot for a period of time is ok , but better to just plant where you want. You will have to water it and a little fertilizer doesn’t hurt either

I think I liked your "Bird Cage" chop best.
That was a fun one. Crow Biden.

Sry, can't help with the tree though. Maybe dig it up, plant it on the fence line, cut it down in a few years?
