Tread: The Killdozer Documentary

Wow
I dont know a lot about this guy/event, so this looks interesting to me.
Though, with any doc, there will be bias, so Im curious how they take it/present it

Just got done watching this on Amazon. Pretty good. Got to hear the tape he made right before he did his thing. I understand his frustration and anger at the system and how those people use it against him. I’m not saying I agree with what he did, just because of the innocent people that were in danger. But I understand where he was coming from. He seem like a good fellow, I hate that he ended up taking his own life. Don't want to see anybody die. As good as this documentary was I don’t think it’s really worth the six dollar rental price. There’s not really anything new that we haven’t seen before about this story. They did have some computer-generated images of the tank driving around though. But I’m sure if you wait long enough it’ll go on prime.

Just watched this on Netflix
I liked how they had photos and video from the event, including his body in the cab.
He seemed like a very smart man, to create this piece of machinery with the camera system and lexan portholes with compressed air to clean them off etc. Smart guy.

Seemed like a good man overall, but Im curious if his story is correct/accurate.
I say that because it seems like no one really corroborates his story, but, then again, if they're all out against him they've had a long time to sync their stories/versions.

He felt he was driven by God to do this act, interesting.

Also, his anti-Catholic comment was gross.

Thanks for the heads up
Wife actually seemed to like watching WACO (except for finding out that our government is a lot more evil than she thought) so maybe this will be good for a movie night

Watched it today. Nothing spectacular, but worth the 90 minutes to gain a little knowledge about the situation.

I watched it a couple of days ago. I do believe the council screwed him over. However he said he wanted $450,000 for his business and he "would have walked away." He sold it for $400,000. Seems some info from both sides don't add up.

I detected a number of revised for TV stories coming from the townsfolk and people who suffered damages. His old girlfriend and his old buddies still seem to have very fond memories of their friend in spite of his last deeds. I do believe he was wronged by the council. That said, I recognized some mental illness type things he said in his tape. He sounded and acted like someone I knew very well who rode the downward spiral and found the bottom of several full pill bottles at the same time. No personal fault for issues and belief that people were actively out to discredit him and harm him. His hearing people talking behind his back is another one. A little schizophrenia sounding there.

Seems like I saw something that showed he was being unreasonable about something and the council just gave up after a while and that just sent him over the edge that his negotiations weren't very good.
