Tree down!

Had a dead tree near the road that was in danger of falling on the power lines across the street. After hacking my way thru thorns to the base of the tree I found it was bigger than I realized, a little over 24" in diameter. I hooked a chain to it about 20ft up and hooked the other end up to the truck to help guide it the direction I wanted it to fall.

So I'm sitting there in 4 low with the hubs locked and thought why not....








She did it. Figured it broke off and fell.

Nope. Pulled that sumbitch up by the roots!

The bumper looks tough, but the way it's mounted is garbage. It's an oil field welder special. I'm planning to put a stock bumper on it with a real frame mounted class 4/5 hitch.
