how critical are sliding brackets when building a 2 Tree platform?

I wanted to whip this platform out today but stopped when I realized I hadn't considered the trees swaying independently in a storm.

Essentially all I've done is placed the 2 primary beams, got them level and just held in place with a couple screws. Before I get to drilling and bolting, I want to decide if I care about using a sliding bracket on one end (the right side of the pic probably).

You’re only about 6’ off the ground. Shouldn’t be too much motion there. But, then again, I’m a Tower hand...I’d say put two 5/8” guy wires on each tree, and pull them to 3,000 pounds tension. Movement problem solved.

I figured staying low to the ground would....

- keep mom from being freaked out
- keep the motion down
- save my rotator cuffs

I briefly considered the movement when I started on the boy's then decided I didn't care.
Bout 8' up, drove big spikes in, figure if they move it'll just wallow the holes.
The floor has been up there a... two months? Everything is still tight, need to get back after it.
