I'd like to convert my generator over to propane by using one of the trifuel kits. Do any of y'all have experience doing this?

Gasoline is a PITA.

It is. I ordered the first panels this week for a small solar system. Hopefully in a few months I’ll have enough to power the lights and fridge/freezer.

I did mine, used a small copper pipe went though the air box curved it into the "mouth" of the carburetor and used a rubber brake line (new) then hooked up to a gas grill (temp control knob) then to a replacement lp hose for a grill with regulator.

Works great and I like it because propane is cleaner and long term storage is outstanding.

I've worked on LP engines for years, what controls the fuel/air ratio as the generator transitions from idle to load? Do you turn the grill type fuel valve until it idles smoother?

That’s what I do to carburetor on cars for air fuel ratio....as for as load I put a load on the generator when I done it.
