TRS- 25 rugged mount

I like the TRS optic but the single point clamp is a bit weak for heavy recoil- I tried this and think it’s a big help.

2 4-40 set screws threaded thru the base to clamp onto the rail fore and aft.

You can see the big gap between the rail and mount - the weak link in this otherwise great and affordable mini optic.

I liked them until the last year or so. Just about everything else beats the crap out of them in battery life now, including their replacement the TRS-26. I've never had one on anything higher recoil than an AR so never had that issue.
