Trump says ban on 'bump stocks' coming’

Funding for the wall happened under Bush as well. Still no wall. Funding isn't really relevant. Where is my bleeping wall?

We don't know if the SCOTUS picks are solid. As history has shown.

Free Pot. Yippee. That is important. o_O

From what I have read the new NAFTA is not much different than the old one. He rearranged deck chairs.

Iran deal was a good call, but it did not increase my freedom one bit.

No Hearing Safety Act.
No National Reciprocity
No Wall

Still have ACA.

He has lots of work to do.
Apparently I have nothing to discuss with you here, as there are clearly things here that impact the freedom of not only your country but you as an individual and tax-payer, yet you want to deny that it has any bearing on you whatsoever.

I'm not denying anything. I just don't blindly cheerlead. Trump has not been a total disaster like Obama was. But at this point, and that is the key phrase, he has not fulfilled his promises. Like I said, I hope he gets there.

Yes he has cut some regulations. The big corporations are very happy. But I still have the ACA to deal with. And possibly a bump stock ban.

And zero BLEEPING WALL. :D

Has he mentioned what will be the deciding factor on the bump ban? Is this like another ATF letterhead, or is it actual congressional action? - My hope is it won't get through any legislative action and he'll say "oh well" and it will be forgotten about.

As for the other unfinished business, as we all said before he was elected, his main fight will be congressional republicans. If they won't play ball with him, it's gonna be harder for him to pull this stuff off. - I'm sure as you already know, that's the entire reason the ACA is still in place. The republicans voted to repeal it when they know it couldn't pass, and then didn't when they could.

It's a federal rule change. Congress is not involved. It redefines a bumpstock as an illegal machine gun. Once the bureaucratic process is complete it's done and has the force of law. Thousands of law abiding gun owners will be instant felons. Stroke of a pen.

That doesn't not sound like an increase in freedom. :D

So what's the solution? I still haven't heard that part.

Well jerking off to how great Donald Trump is certainly isn't one.

Nor is continually making excuses as he pushes through more actual gun control than his predecessor.

I did not offer any solutions. I was just trying to get educated on all this extra freedom we were receiving. Cause I have missed all that. My complete guess to solutions is elect better people, boycott bad companies and groups, don't give a freaking inch on anything, blow up the Public Education and University systems, Balkanization and eventual dissolution of the current USA. Or lots and lots of bloodshed. Which wouldn't be ideal.

But all that is with about 39 seconds of thought so I reserve te right to Ames my ideas.

Pointing out successes is not making excuses for anything. I'm not making excuses for bad actions or policies.

The same argument could be made for "jerking off" to failures and not recognizing what positive impact are made.

I bring up marijuana legalization and short-sighted people think it's all about getting high. We are talking about massive improvement in safer health options (CBD oil access for example), farming and crop production, US based apparel production via hemp, and a shitload more. More power for State jurisdiction and a win for those of us against the war on drugs.
