Anyone hunting public land in NC? I just started turkey hunting this year. Got setup for it and I am just looking for places to go and have an opportunity to learn. I got to go hunt public land in VA with a buddy last weekend but we just couldn't seem to get on a bird. Now I'm hooked. I'm looking at the possibility of finding some public land to go hunt this week and next. Any suggestions on where to go?

That's what I've been looking at but I was hoping someone would tell me at least where not to go if not which one I would have better luck at lol. Trying to decide if I should go to Caswell County, Uwharrie, or go west towards the mountains. Hoping to go this weekend.
