I have a performance center ported core 9l. Shoots good but wanting to get it a little better. I have a canik sfx that ive changed springs in and polished . It shoots great now. Want the m&p to do the same. I tried a lighter striker and was having a few light strikes. So went back to stock. Has anyone changed recoil springs? Plunger spring? Anything i can do to improve on it? Trigger is pretty decent with the adjustable stop.it it was a little lighter it would be nice.

Isn't the performance Center Core pistol already tweaked? What's wrong with it that needs to be fixed? If you think it should just be "better", without a firm idea on what would make it so, you might be chasing the impossible.

As i said id like the trigger a little bit lighter. Would also like to get it shooting flatter. My canik has almost no muzzle rise now. And follow up shots are much more easy. The first reply is the type info im looking for.

What did you do with the canik? I hear they are similar to the ppq.

I changed the guide rod and recoil spring. Striker spring. Plunger spring. Trimmed the trigger safety slighty.and polished the slide bar. I havent put it on a scale. But have seen where it makes the trigger about 2.5lbs. Great shooting gun.with very little recoil now.

Too bad you are not near Statesville, I could show you my 40 M&P CORE. My trigger goes just under 3 lbs and does not have any sear flutter issues.
