Once upon a time, back before everyone was an operator, many knives had wooden and brass handles. Recently I was able to pick up a couple of examples. Neither one is really old, just a classic design.

First, is a Buck Model 110. The 110 has been around since the 1960's. I can remember when most any guy that you saw had a Buck 110 on his belt. I've had several over the years but I haven't had one for a long time. This one was made in 2013.

Next is a Case Mako Model 58L. The 58L is very similar to the Buck 110. This one was made in 1993.

Nice! I have a small collection of Buck knives!

Very nice, I like the old timer, case, and sog knives

I still have my Buck 110 I bought in the early 1970s. Had a leather case back then.

It took a nice edge. Used to slice rolls of pasters to make the pasters go farther.

I had a 110 40 years ago that got stolen. Bought a new one about 5 years ago. But I want 1 or 2 "classic" older models. Been kinda looking here and there. A large majority have the tip broken and have been re-profiled.

A Buck 110 is a rare animal at a gun show in this area.

^^. Yep it’s an addiction. I have several older case knives and a few ‘pocket’ knives as well. Classics never grow old. The brass just turns green. ;)

I have an Uncle Henry in that style. It's a mid 90's model. My GF/now Wife gave it to me to replace the one stolen that my Grandmother gave me for Christmas.

I gave daddy a Buck 110 for Christmas. He broke the tip years later, I gave him a new one. He reshaped the 1st one and it works. Unfortunately, I have both now and they don't get used.
