So I had lowering springs and adjustable struts installed on my fun car a couple of weeks ago. Nice, huh? :D

But this thread is in the handgun forum. o_O Bear with me. :D

So I know they had to remove the carpet/cardboard or whatever that stuff is in the trunk to install the rear springs & shocks, well yesterday I was looking for something in the trunk and noticed a bulge under the right edge that I had never seen before, and this is what it was:

It's a military issue shoulder holster (http://adirondackleatherproducts.com/holstersa.html), essentially unopened in the plastic bag. One end was just stapled so I removed the contents. There is a printed instruction sheet as well. Now I remember the car I've only owned for a few months has a small marine corps emblem on one of the windows.

It says it's for a 1911 or M9 Beretta. Think it would work for my full size PX4? Never been a big fan of shoulder holsters though. Unless it happens to be worth a lot (I have no idea) if anyone has a particular reason why they would really like this (you used one in the service, your dad had one, etc.) post your story and it's yours. Or we can vote on the best one. Easy come, easy go.

Otherwise I might fall victim to Don Johnson fantasies  and try to use the damn thing.

I have a brother in law who is an old Army Ranger, I'm sure he would find it very interesting.
Since I posted this one of my local friends has expressed great interest in it. He has no particular story but is a military vet and wants it for his big stainless Kimber, so I think I'm going to let him have it.

BTW just FYI to anyone that likes it, here it is on Amazon (but it's not black?), it's worth about $33.

I’m interested in any color of New Edge Mustang, so long as it's red.
And my favorite, “Arrest Me Red”.

Nice wheels!

I'm pretty sure it's blasphemy to put anything but a 1911 in that thing.

Stop and think about this for a minute.

With a low bucket seat, that shoulder holster would probably be the quickest way to get your EDC into action if something came up suddenly while you were on the road. You might want to try it out for a while before you decide to part with it.

Nice Stang you have there! I have one nearly identical, a 2003 GT in the same color, although my paint is sun faded and the clearcoat is peeling. Part of me wants to have it resprayed, but I'm not sure the car is worth the investment.
