I’m guessing it is his response to all the things he is being told will result in jail, end of career, etc. Unless you are an elected Democrat. Then you get a promotion.

Exactly.
Of course the list of infractions this applies to is quire long and goes beyond laws regarding the handling of classified materials.
Democrats literally get away with murder. Dead Ted: Murder by depraved indifference, DWI murder.
