New flooring is ordered and subfloor almost ready. Just a bit more wood putty and it's ready.

Carpet up and underlayment almost perfect.

Dang! Looks like y'all been busy!

It also looks great. Flooring will be a nice finishing touch.

I've read that "mopping" the floor with a wood glue will crate a seal under the flooring you put down.
The article said to get a 5 gallon bucket of glue and a string type mop and coat the subfloor good.

Too late.

Looks like a good place to enjoy some bangers and mash. Or a squibbly dibbly or whatever the hell they call things over there.

Good work Joe!

Tell Trudi to keep that plate on her car too.

Funny story...

Trudi was approached by a guy at a gas station today. He told her that plate was going to "get her in trouble".

It's gonna get ugly boys.
That's terrible. Was she worried/intimidated by him?

I hope she replied with her British accent on full display! That would throw 'im for a loop.

When I posted it....I didn't realize she had already told you guys. I was busy being incensed with rock throwing memes.

I have got to put her training on the front burner.

Rolling on Thompson Water Seal and Kilz does the same thing

Purty! And that's the least racist flooring I've seen since hickory.

At $1.79 a sq ft. It's hard to beat. 25 yr rating I think.

We do a lot of that style flooring and it's great. Goes in easy, wears well and waterproof!

You can't beat it for cutting ease, working around door jambs, sliding under existing baseboard, etc.
