Today seemed to be heading in the right direction. Jerek actually felt pretty good this morning. He didn’t have a fever this morning and was able to work on the computer some. He still had a headache and the doctors decided to consult with neurology. The neurologist came to see him and they decided an MRI would be the only way to see what might be causing the headache. They will probably come get him sometime during the middle of the night to do the MRI.
As the day went on the headache got worse and he started to feel bad again. Around 3pm he spiked another fever. 101.5. He laid back down to rest and they gave him more Tylenol to bring the fever down. One of the doctors came by and told him they were changing one of his oral antibiotics in the morning. He told us this new medicine is about 20 times stronger than the current medication he is taking. Hopefully he will get some decent rest tonight and his temperature will stay down.
