I was looking at taming my X95 SBR a bit with my Turbo K and found this spring from Shooting Sight. I didn't find a ton of information on it but I figured it was cheap enough to try out. I used this video for removing the spring. It was annoying but once you figure it out it's not too bad.
Here's a pic of the springs side by side. Left is the HERS, right is stock. My shitty calipers had the wire at ~0.1mm thicker, I have no idea what the metal is.
With the stock spring, it's very over gassed. Putting the turbo k on it made it kick like an over gassed 7.62x39 AK. With the HERS it dropped it down to slightly over gassed AR15 in 5.56. Felt kind of like the unsuppressed stock spring. It was much gentler unsuppressed to, like a smooth AR.
Overall I'd recommend this for sure, even for unsuppressed use.
