With the AR market what it is, I'm trying to figure out if its worth selling one of my ARs to pick up a Scorpion carbine or if I should just save the cash over the next 3-4 months.

The rifle started life as a PSA Premium M4 and I did a few upgrades over the past few years, I know I'll never get back the amount of money that I have in the gun, but I'm wanting opinions as to what other people think its worth.

    PSA bones
PSA 16" 1/7 twist FN barrel
    PSA BCG
    SLR adjustable gas block
    VG6 Epsilon brake
    CMC 4.5lb curved trigger
BCM KMR 13" aluminum and magnesium version
    Magpul MOE+ grip
    Magpul CTR stock
    Magpul BAD lever

    Magpul BUIS set
    KAW Valley heavey buffer 4.3oz
    KAW Valley Buffer spring
    BCM Mod 3 Vertical grip
    Aimpoint Pro

The rifle has a few thousand rounds through it but its in pretty good shape over all, has your typical handling marks here and there for a rifle that's seen some use.

Granted you dont have pictures but what do you guys think would be a reasonable expectation with and without the optic?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. With the political climate the way it is, I am hesitant to recommend anyone sell their “evil Black Death machines.” So my vote is to save up for the scorpion. (I am not of the “let’s all panic and buy them” Camp, but a bit conservative on letting them go.)

    2. As far as price goes, I think you would probably be better served swapping out all of the upgrades parts for the standard bare bones that is started life as and selling it for $500 or so. Then post those upgrades parts separately. If we have learned anything over the years is that it’s more difficult to find someone that values the upgrades as much as we do when we added them.

Agree with Booger. I think if you don’t swap out the upgrades and sell them separately, you’ll still end up with $500ish.

Heck you can get an AR for the price of an Aimpoint. Not a seller’s market. Save up.

Sounds like a nice build, keep it. Otherwise you'll have to break it down.

Thanks guys, I kind of figured I’d have a hard time selling this AR with the current market, guess I’ll start saving pennies.
