Check with @Geezer. he is the Glock EXPERT. I would trust his advice more than Glock Customer Service.I am not clear of what I read that you shouldn't use lead rounds in Glocks. I have a Glock 44 and have a lot of these CCI lead round nose.
Am I to assume that if I keep the barrel clean after each use that it should be safe to use ?
No way it's not about money. An Honest Question...
Why do Glocks have Polygonal Rifling?
I have never heard that they are more accurate, or safer, or that they last longer, or that they have less friction... but mebbe I missed sumpin'.

I ran some plain lead 45acp through a Glock I owned for a short time. Barrel started leading up after 25-30 rounds. Only times that has happened before in any gun running low velocity was when the barrel diameter and bullet diameter didn’t match well. I’m thinking that was my problem more than the construction of the barrel. Coated lead in the same gun caused no leading problems but was not very accurate either which makes me point to diameters not matching well.No issues with the G44. I run the junk Federal bulk ammo in mine about all of the time. I'm trying to shoot it up so I can switch over to my Mini Mags. Not sure if I'll live long enough to shoot up all the Federal that I have.
I have shot a lot of @Butter 's coated lead bullets through my Glocks without any leading problems. I've never shot any lead bullets that were not coated, though.
