USPSA clinic on how to zero a stage.

I have been leaving the mags off my belt until I'm in the hole for a while now. Trying to cut down on fatigue. I just got iut of my routine here. Totally hilarious bone headed move.

I do the same thing.

Serious question: could you have returned the pistol to start position (slide closed/hammer decocked/holstered), ran to your gear to grab your mags, and finished the stage? Obviously you would have suffered but could have retained some stage points.

Good question.
