I am 50% disabled so I get VA medical coverage I also have tricare recently I made multiple trips to the ER for a fall. (blood thinners caused major problems after the fall) is there any way to have the VA pay instead of tricare

And just so you dont think you're chasing ghosts, they will pay for er visitation, as they did so for me recently when i had an allergic reaction. I listed va as my insurance during intake, not sure how it will work asking tgem to pay after the fact, but the sooner you report the better.

When I had to go to the ER after my VA deviated septum surgery, I listed the VA as my primary per instructions i received when i called the Durham VA when I started having issues.

That was on a Saturday and my wife called and did the notification on Monday since they were closed.

Only copay I ever had to pay was $25 when I did a follow up appointment cause my doctors office didn’t get it pre-approved by the VA but my private insurance covered it.

Glad I listed VA, cause turns out I had gotten MSRA from my VA surgery. At home health and medicines were over $25K a week which I had for x4 weeks. On top of the ER visit, hospitalization, and all the tests they had to run.

I paid my $25 and thanked the good Lord
