Booked trip for wife and I to Las Vegas in May for 4 days, plan is to stay in Vegas, day trips and sight seeing during the day, debauchery and dining during the evening.
So far this is on the possible lists:

Red Rock Canyon
Zion NP
Valley of Fire
Hoover Dam

Anything to put on the must do list or the skip list.

We are up in the air about the Grand Canyon since I'd rather see the North Rim than the West Rim / Skybridge.

I am flying out next month and meeting a buddy. We'll hang around Vegas a day or two and start working our way back towards Houston. We have plans to stay a day or two in Tombstone. I'm excited and ready!

Zion is incredible and even more so if you get away from the road and up into the hills. Bring binoculars and look for climbers up on the walls.

Mustang Ranch

:D

the SkyBridge was waaaay too expensive for me. they made me.
pay to park. pay to ride a bus. pay to walk on the bridge.
on the plus side....nothing like it in this hemisphere.

Last time I was there I had to go to Rachel and drive down the 11 mile long dirt road to the signs at Area 51. I also took a few hours to go to Carroll Shelby’s shop and museum.

When my wife and I went we had a great time both in and outside of the casinos. We booked a day long helicopter tour that flew over (well not over anymore because....terrorists but close enough) hoover dam then took us into the grand canyon and landed on the bank of the river. Honestly, one of the coolest things ever to be lowered into that canyon. We took a short boat ride up the river with an Indian tour guide who talked about the tribes history and then it was off to their reservation in the helicopter to walk on the sky bridge. After lunch we came back.

The next day we went indoor sky diving which was a blast and went to a show.

Another thing to check out is the minus 5 bar where the drinks are served in glasses made of ice, the tables and chairs are all ice with fur on them.

If you can afford it, have dinner at the Auriole. The wine angels are a really cool site.
