Velocity MPC trigger

I'm thinking about purchasing the 3lb, Velocity MPC trigger for my AR-10 build. Does anyone have experience with this drop-in trigger? Feedback regarding the weight is also helpful. Is 3lb too light? Should I go up to 4lb?
Also, I like the smooth, curved option. Does anyone have experience with the serrated shoe?
