Looks good. Have you done any burnishing on the edges yet?

I like working with 5/7 oz. horse butt leather and have made several magazine holsters and axe sheaths. It's relatively thin and very durable. I use solid copper rivets at the end of the stitching on the sheaths to keep the sharpened edge from cutting the thread, taking it on and off.

Not sure where you are getting your leather and supplies, but you might want to check out Zack White Leather over in Ramseur.

Very nice! I use beeswax to burnish the edges
