I’m going to offer up a box of Federal HSTs. Winner gets the choice of 147gr 9mm or 180gr .40S&W. Pick it up if you’re local, or I’ll cover shipping.

The rules:
1. Must be a Supporting Member
2. Must be a Veteran, or active duty
3. Must post “both are superior to .45” in this thread*

In case there is any confusion on #2 because I worded it wrong, I’m looking for any active or retired member of what military.com lists as the Branches of the Military: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy and Space Force. Dishonorable discharges need not apply.

Deadline to enter is noon on Veterans Day (Thursday, November 11th). I’ll draw a random number soon after that and post up the winner.

Supporting membership is easy to prove, but I’ll have to take your word on active/retired military.

*posting “I’m in” won’t cut it…gotta post what I said, whether you agree or not 😁

You’re good. I didn’t know what all the proper categories should be. Honorably discharged = early retirement in my head. 🤣

Less than a day to get entered. Really thought we’d have more than 17 veterans here. Or maybe there are more and they just can’t admit the inferiority of the .45 round. 🤣
