I bought a S&W Victory (SW22) a few months ago and we've had trouble with one of the magazines. When fully loaded (10 rounds), it frequently will not feed the first few rounds. When I get down to 7 in the mag and everything is fine.
If I manually eject cartridges from the magazine, for example using a screwdriver tip, the rounds do not consistently feed to the top. I've tried 3 different types of ammo (CCI, Federal and Remington) with the same results. I just bought 3 extra mags (new S&W) and I've noticed they are tight, too, when feeding manually. Haven't taken those to the range yet.
I feel like the magazines are just too tight. I've considered trying to open it up a little by twisting a screwdriver inside (gently), but I'm a noob, so thought I'd ask before I damage something
TIA!
Chris
