Shot my 300win mag for the first time tonight and was SHOCKED at how much recoil the brake took out of it.
Savage 110 Tactical 300win mag, factory loads kicked LESS than my 308 chassis gun w/brake (m-72 copy) you see laying there.
Vid is my 76yr old father shooting the 300win for the first time. (He was nervous about the recoil).

Brake = Big Beast 2-piece, 5 port

Definitely makes some GREAT brakes.
Will be ordering one for my chassis 308 and maybe a few gas guns.

I used to have a Safety Harbor Firearms 50BMG, with their 12 port shark hill muzzle brake. It recoiled less than a Mosin Nagant.
That was more than a decade ago, I can only imagine what they have created since then.

PA certainly hit the target with the m4-72 brake. Spent half a day researching brakes today before ordering one for my .308

It’s all about the gas!

There is more gas generated in a 300 mag than a 308… more gas volume means more recoil reduction.
