Video: BEST chronograph ever!? GARMIN Xero C1 Pro

Frontline defense just posted yesterday that they will be offering those for sale. I’ll watch those videos a little later on when I get time. But I’m intrigued by this garmin chrono.

If it actually works, it's a game changer for sure.
Labradar is bulky with a ... frustrating ... interface
Magneto is a PIA to setup
Other's are way more expensive
Optical old school style 'work' close enough but aren't known for accuracy.

I’ve hit the point where I think I need to start getting actual muzzle velocity so I’ve been thinking about a chrono. This Outdoor Life review sure is positive (maybe they tend to only say nice things but that review seems more positive than usual). I wouldn’t want to buy the first version of a new chrono (at least wait for some software updates!) but man I would seriously consider one of these / hope it is as good as these reviews!

The there are no screens and all that goes with them is a BIG plus.

If you’re coming for Gun Run Night Ops, you can use my magneto or a Labradar that’s at the range.

Thanks Tim, sadly I will not be at the night ops match (still working on getting set up for night matches, how long that takes depends on whether I keep blowing all my shooting money on other stuff!). If I’m heading that way some other time maybe I’ll reach out to you. Eg still need to make it to one of your 3 gun matches!
