Video: Cleaning & Maintenance For Your Everyday Carry (EDC) by Otis Technology

You beat me to it 😂 @Get Off My Lawn

I'm on a quarterly cycle for edc cleaning. Of the few guns I've carried daily (I'm young) the sig 365xl was the only one that developed rust after a month. I'll knock the lint off every two weeks or so. Idk if tactical fuzz will affect reliability or not. This holster I have for my cz seems to trap it considerably more around the trigger than my other gun/holster combos.

Every night? Like the Squanch, Im on a quarterly cycle for my edcs also, except I knock the lint off once a week. Hell, I dont even clean the range guns but about twice a year, if that.

I clean my EDC after I shoot it. I don't, and have never heard of anyone cleaning theirs every night unless they were overseas/in bad weather.

I have heard of a representative of a company telling people to use their product(s) excessively, so you have to buy more quickly.

I’ll meet @Jayne cleans his every day

Come on, man.

I clean mine after each range session, but nothing too serious. I have a duplicate of my EDC that I use for training and dryfire and such so much of the actual use goes into a gun that won't need to be cleaned all that often.

My policy is to clean each gun after a bullseye hit.

I‘ll let you know when. 🤪

I was being sarcastic. If’n I recall you’d posted pics of a Glock with a lot of crud buildup & it just kept running.

Oh right, that's my competition gun, it gets lubed and inspected before each range trip and gets the OEM nylon brush run through the barrel and around the extractor before every match. It gets actually "cleaned" every 5000. Oddly though, it's still pretty reliable.
