Video: Shooting Fundamentals - Eye Dominance with Julie Golob

I equate that with do you inhale or exhale on trigger pull. If you start thinking about it, you are effed. She probably knows what she's talking about but I find these type things come naturally, maybe not for some. Shot on her squad with 1 other AMU team member a million years ago in Alabama. She is very pleasant to be around.

I was born right eye dominant and right handed. When I was 5 I fell on a stick and jammed it into my right eye. Now I'm left eye dominant, and right handed, but have to shoot rifles left handed because I can't see well enough out of my right eye.

It sounds strange, but after 46 years it's as natural as anything I do right handed.

I've shot clays with people who KNEW I was right handed.

They say "I thought you were right handed?"

I say "I am. I just wanted to give you a sporting chance."
