Great news!! See you about 1. Come earlier if you want to. We'll just wait til after church to get started shooting. No need to poke 'em with a sharp stick, so we let them disperse and go off to eat chicken.
 
@gunbelt laid in at The Bunk House!! All of us full from a Hot Dog feast. Good to have our Ole Pard up around and back on the compound.
He was duly impressed with the fit/finish of the New 2020 Python. Honestly it compares with the Korth to my way of thinking and viewing.
Y'all all hurry down this way. It went from 88 to 72 today in 45 minutes. Nothing like a cold rain to make things fresh again.

Billy, is it seriously that nice? I honestly would not have expected that. No experience with Korth, only heard of their reputation. I'll hafta keep an eye out on your updates with it.

I looked it over real good before I delivered it to Billy, mainly since I saw a couple of the earliest ones and was hugely unimpressed. The fit and especially the finish of the early ones I saw were not good, but to give Colt credit, this one was the difference in night and day. Very nice fit and finish. DA was also great. SA not as good, but being a Python owner since 1975 I was glad to see they corrected the problems

I have absolutely no experience with Pythons. Don't think I've ever even handled one, but to my mind, a 6" Python is the epitome of class in double action revolvers, but the old ones were priced out of my wallet & knowledge.

I've been seriously considering a DW 715. Got to fondle, but not shoot one & REALLY liked it. Trigger felt great, both DA & SA & you know if it's a Dan Wesson, it's gonna shoot. The new Python being in the same ballpark price wise threw a big ol' wrench into my decision making process.

Surprised me. If I was in the market for a Python I'd get one of the new ones.
