Carolina Firearms Forum would like to welcome you to a range day hosted by Frank of VOD Tactical.

Bays:
-25yd covered pistol bays, 12 lanes wide
-500yd covered rifle range, 12 lanes wide
-lots of steel on both ranges
-both ranges can be run simultaneously

*Frank will have the skeet thrower up and running

**Vendor area available if interested
**Plenty of room for camping and pull behind campers
**Bring your own snacks, not enough interest to roast a pig

Gates open at 10am
Egg Shoot at 11am
Range goes cold at 2pm (maybe brew and BS follow??)

We will have paper and steel at 3, 4 , and 5 hundred yards, and hopefully 600.
I also would like to do an " Egg Shoot " at 500 if there is interest.

I have a .338LM. Is this OK? Your steel, your rules. If not OK on steel, will there be target backers for hanging paper targets?

I think I might be able to hit an egg at 500. It just might take about $400 worth of ammo in sighters. But hey, since I reload, "Look Honey, I just saved $250!"

Apparently that math only works when she goes shopping. What was I thinking?

Negative. If we roast a pig or something we might ask for a donation, but otherwise its just a place for us to shoot different stuff and BS

Thinking about this. It is 5+ hours away. Used to ride bike all around the Lake Lure area. How is the hotels and restaurants in that area around the Old Fort area?. Is there some type of shooting format? Or is it just bring it and shoot it?

There will be some open range time, but we will have some structure at points as well. @VOD Tactical and I are still working out the details and will post them when they get sorted out

Check hotels in Marion, and Black Mtn.
Both are 20 mins away.
