I havent been able to hold one yet and compare side by side. I've heard they are heavy and obviously they look a bit bulky compared to an eotech but at their price point for the reputation that they have for customer service can you go wrong with these if you can handle the extra weight and they are reliable? I have heard good thingsHad one for a while, it was totally fine. Sold it because I preferred my eotech.
Nothing wrong with them though!
That makes sense. I appreciate the feedback! I'm seriously considering trying one at their price point, just trying to make sure they have no serious issues.Mine was perfectly reliable and not noticibly heavier than an eotech.
The 'issues' with it are the same issues that plauge all holographics. Heavy-ish, bulky, short battery life, etc.
The only thing I preferred about my eotech was that the reticule was slightly clearer with my astigmatism. But that's likely going to vary person to person.
That’s where I got mine too, and I like it a lot so far. To me the reticle is more crisp and clear than the EOTec, and I haven’t weighed them to compare, but I don’t think it’s that much heavier. I also like the aesthetics of it better and I know that Vortex has a solid warranty if ever needed.@Presman30
