They block enough noise for shooting? Earbuds are tight enough to avoid sound leaks?
Actually, one of the concerns I have about these Walkers we’ve ordered is the claimed attenuation of 23db. That’s not much compared to foam plugs that provide more than 30. :(

-23db is probly ok for pistol shooting outdoors, but what's the bluetooth for? Do ya'll like to listen to tunes and talk on the phone while you're shooting?

OTOH -23db bluetooth buds would be ideal for mowing the lawn.

I like to call my wife on the rare occasion I actually hit something.

I shoot almost exclusively outdoors with suppressed rifles. So I think these will work well for me.

I think that's the main reason for the bluetooth - so they can do double duty for mowing grass and other around the house activities.

I actually went the more expensive route - got the non-bluetooth ones for shooting and then another pair of over the ear for around the house.

I wrote an iOS app a while back that....

- let's you designate a number of targets
- designate a duration
- designate a random start time (3-10 second delay)

When you hit start, after the delay, the phone starts calling out target numbers at random intervals (0.5-x seconds) for whatever duration you set.

Play that through the bluetooth for a handy training tool.

I'm working on it....kinda sorta. If I put it on the app store I have to pay for a developer license (I've been testing using my real job's license) and then actually provide support.

Also, I'm terrible at making things look pretty.

Tried them today at TSA in Raleigh, synced to my phone BT, adjusted volume and nice, adjusted to hear all RSO commands about 1/2 level volume.
I won't use them all the time but when I use my AR and shotguns. edit: I wore them for about 1.5 hours.

Once I understood how to crumble the gummy ear plug, they seem to work ok. I’m not used to them yet and can’t help but notice the difference in noise reduction compared with typical foam plugs. Had the phone ring while I was shooting today and I got to hear the recorded speech about renewing my car warranty. o_O
