Does anyone have thoughts or experience with the Walther PDP compact 9mm. I'm ;ooking for advice good or bad. I plan to fun a Holosun 407C on it.
Thanks

Iā€™m very happy with my full size PDP.

i have a RMR on my compact 4, my compact 5 is naked and still unfired.
its a solid gun and i'm angry i'm going to have to buy so many for my collection
My hands are not overly large, so i really don't know why i'd want the full size other than the +3. but at the same time, it's only 0.3" bigger, so is it that much of a difference to get +3?

the only thing i'm disappointed abut so far (i do have a lot of laser cartridge trigger pulls on it) is the way the adapter plate adds just enough height to make it not really let you cowitness the sights at the bottom of the rmr window. a couple hundredths lower would have worked, but i hear some reflex sights don't have that problem.

i'm thinking about putting an ACRO on the bigger guns, because they're already big...

I really like my PDP plus Holosun green dot combination. EDC around the farm is a full sized PPQ, with the PDP used for situations where Iā€™m dressed nicer.

I wish manufacturers would put three magazines in the box. Vent is over. Today or tomorrow im gonna run some drills and compare historical scores against my Glock. What i like already is. Gun is very ergonomic, trigger is good no upgrades needed for me. Dot is visible on draws. Accuracy at speed will be measured against historical scoresheet against my glocks

Shot pdp last weekend.
-dot torture easy 47 (support hand gets me every time)
- gila hayes 5x5 easy low 4 high 3 range from holster, No dropped shots
-10x10 (97 average for 4 runs)
-wilson new idpa classifier (1st run 22:23)2nd 22:14)3d pushed speed to much 27:36)
Good-groups were tighter than my beloved glocks, ergonomics are red dot friendly, magazines literally jump from gun during changes
Bad- still getting usef to trigger (dedicated glock for a long time)
-grip with medium insertfeels small (probably me) will try larger one
- magazine and part availability is not as local friendly as glock
Overall I like it

Comptac holster and kytex mag pouches are in. Hitting range this weekend. Wish holsters were more plentiful. Once decided if I like it I will probably order jm custom kydex.

Does anyone carry a walther? Seems like a lot of dudes use them for competition but I never hear anyone really carrying one. I know the pps m1 and m2 were supposed to be pretty solid...

No experience with shooting walther. Just curious. Walthers are some of the most attractive guns out there, I think.

I carried a PPQ for a while before I went back to DA/SA. If I were to go back to polymer, it would be a PPQ again. Sold a VP9 to go with the PPQ.
Very accurate, pretty soft shooting, smooth, was able to get follow ups back on target pretty quick, pretty good trigger, too. The polymer sights suck.
Wifey still carries hers.

I carry concealed a Walther PPS M2 LE version. I carry it in a pocket holster and it is very comfortable. And the LE version comes with a 6, 7 and 8 rounds mag.
