There is an EASY way. The hippies showed us how in the 60s. They moved around to avoid getting their draft cards. Not served, means not notified. So, they moved around, apartment to apartment, and tens of thousands of "Greetings and Salutations" got "returned to sender" as "recipient not a resident here." So the selective service decided that if you were of the age for the draft, you not only had to register, but TELL THE SELECTIVE SERVICE IF YOU MOVED, OR PLANNED TO MOVE.

This was like waving a red flag at a bull. They ran a "comply-in" where the entire population "complied" ... with gusto. Selective Service literally ground to a halt with HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of "I am moving to my friend's apartment across the hall" (no address).... "no, I have decided to move to Illinois" then "I changed my mind, I am moving to California." "I have moved to xxx" then the next day "I have moved to yyyy" then "I moved back to xxx" The selective service was COMPLETLELY overwhelmed and unable to process any of its mail. In frustration they just gave up and rescinded the rule.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU KNOW "might" own a gun. Remember. These "tips" are anonymous. Do you have a lib friend who hates Trump? You know, he might be tempted to go shoot up something. Is there a legislator in Durham who is a dingbat? You know... he MIGHT have a gun. If he is unhinged, would't it be better to report him as a possible threat to society? ALL THESE THINGS HAVE TO BE INVESTIGATED (or they are supposed to be). All the public has to do is just COMPLY COMPLY COMPLY and follow the august advice of "if you see something, say something" and the beast will choke on its own rules.

... or you can just hope they will behave, and eat you last. :)

For the atf weenies who cruise these threads, we know about your little app, too (found here https://www.atf.gov/atf-tips) and we would just LOVE to give you something to do, ya know. Burner phones with a google voice voip over public access wifi could make life interesting for you.

I can dream, can't I?

If you could find a local “undocumented pharmaceutical rep” and report him you’d be killing 2 birds with 1 flag.

A Durham resident could use Dwayne Dixon (the ANTIFA/UNC Professor) ... we know he has at least an AK and AR plus others. Who knows what else they’d find.

Comply, Comply, Comply!

I can never figure out why all old hippies didn't all become Libertarians...

When you read the old Abbie Hoffman stuff and the Rubin screeds and others, you can laugh at the naivete of leftist principles, but you have to marvel at the sheer brilliance and creativity and UNDERSTANDING that the way to fight Leviathan is NOT to stand against it like the minutemen at Concord. There is a place for that, but it mostly just gets you killed or incarcerated. Rather, it is to use the disorganization, bureaucracy, inertia, inefficiency and general wonkery of the State against it. Grinning smirking scofflaws driving prudish "law and order" drones into apoplectic rage is probably the most delicious thing I can imagine. The hippies "got it" long before the rest of middle America did, that the respect for law depends on a firm moral basis FOR the law. Without that, being a lawbreaker becomes a badge of honor.

That's how they would have said it... jus' sayin'!

ANARCHIST

Yep. Before antifa hijacked the word and made it synonomous with totalitarian statism. I used to lead with anarchocapitalism, but explaining to the usual crowd that anarchy DOES NOT MEAN lawlessness or pantifa (always in a bunch!) got to be too much trouble. I am, though, a qualified anarchist.

Ahh, the good old days :). Massive civil disobedience to choke the beast on it's own rules. I like it!

Oh yeah, speaking of red flag laws, back in the day Durham required pistol registration. Since it was all public information a few of us asked to look through the files, and a certain state Senator from Durham did have a .45 Colt registered to his name. Just sayin'.
