When I was a kid, a new kid in school transferred in from Arizona. He said they'd find scorpions, touch their back with a stick and they'd sting themselves and die. Then they'd dip them in shellac and sell them to tourists.
I think he just became a millionaire.
Well, OK. Maybe a thousandaire.
@Sandman_NC I saw some of those in a convenience store in Arizona a couple of weeks ago.
@Geezer Did you try one? I told my wife I'd buy her one and she gave me "that look". LOL
I got hooked on this for a while.
I'd give you that look, too.
That explains a lot... LOL
I have scorpion wine from Vietnam that would go well with that...
I've had the crickets in that 2nd picture. They kind of tasted like slightly burnt popcorn. Not terrible, but not something I'd eat again.
If I wanted insects and animals in my liquor I'd drink Uncle Oscar's moonshine...... Heck, I've seen him scoop dead squirrels and birds out of his..
Snakes, I'm good. Spider, if I see them I am OK; if they surprise me, nope. Scorpians?? May they all burn in hell.
That's just flavoring. lol
I'll have to find me a bottle of Skorppio, now. That would be an awesome addition to my collection.
