Watch out if using Fedex to ship anything right now

Was going to order 25 carboard targets from NTC yesterday. THey would only ship via Fedex $24. No thanks. I'll do without.

So here is a good one. From UPS today. Box looked like it had been run over by a car. It was a new Ruger 10/22 with a laser engraved eagle.

How much force does it take to break a stock. And where would that happen during a delivery, handling packages?

If you guys are switching to UPS, I recommend PirateShip.com. Its gives heavy discount on UPS(>85%) and USPS as well.

Square is a great example of what a new player can achieve in a market with new technology. Existing card processors have a ton of money invested in old systems that they really cannot afford to simply scrap, even if they invested in a new and less expensive system. With no existing infrastructure, Square was able to implement the latest -and least expensive- technology, which benefited both the company and its merchants.
Square=Jack Dorsey…If it were made known to me that someone was processing my payment using his platform I would cancel the transaction. He is a testicle in Satan’s ballsack.

Guess I should’ve specified I’d like my AA and AAA to be in the original packaging. Although, part of that blame has to go to Grainger for putting in them in a 12x15 padded envelope instead of a box. 🙄🙄

Once upon a time FedEx was THE best carrier. Then the CEO retired and leadership changed and they went to hell in a handbasket. Now I am loathe to use them.

RE: shi* missing from the front porch and all, I am at the point I will pay the extra $ for delivery signature.

Still, no one is as bad as USPS here in getting the wrong thing to the wrong address.

About a year ago, We sent a package with important papers overnight with Morning delivery from NH to our daughter in Callifunny by FEDEx. It was large letter size package and we paid for “special tracking” etc to be sure it got there.
The papers were critical for her job with a hospice organization. ( Like in old people dying)

The FedEx tracking system reported that it was in Memphis and daily calls got us nowhere.
Escalating it to supervisors didn’t help and two weeks later it just disappeared From their system and no one at FedEx cared.
The hospice people were understanding and we were able to provide copies.

The original package still hasn’t been delivered and FedEx refuses to refund the money.

I’ve got $1.14 worth of Walmart photo prints (for $4.00) shipping sitting on a Fed Ex truck that left Durham yesterday morning headed for Fuquay. Why they dispatch from Durham I don’t know. Maybe they don’t have one in Raleigh?

There's one thing I've struggled with regarding all delivery companies... They're the only industry I can think of that makes the customer take the risk for, or directly pay for insurance against their incompetence.

Can you imagine if you went to a restaurant and they take your order and ask if you'd like insurance in case the server accidentally delivers it to the wrong table, or drops the tray on the way to your table?

How about you just do the job right in the first place and perform the 1 task the customer paid you for?

So they didn’t deliver yesterasy what was on the truck to deliver. And it’s just an envelope. And just now they drove past the house to deliver in the neighborhood today. Nothing.
