Seiko 5
The wife got me this for fathers day.

The Seiko Caliber 7S26 automatic movement is a real workhorse and has been performing accurately since introduced 1996 and is a great engine for a watch in this price range.

I've got an old Casio (circa mid 90's) that won't die outside of the battery every 3 or so years and 2 bands. I keep looking at EvoDrive Citizens for when it dies but I just can't bring myself to spend money when that the Casio is still running and keeping great time.

Gruen Veri-Thin. 14K gold. Dad's name is engraved in the back. A gift from my grandparents to him in the 1940's. I guess business was good selling yellow pine lumber to Ft Bragg back then.

Very nice. Someone's had a good year!
Nope. I just sold some guns from my collection and replaced it with cash and some watches. This is my way of diversifying my assets lol.

Sure! Or you can borrow the other one that's on the way. Yes, I truly ordered it and should be here Friday.

Figured I'd order something from my childhood so this was the first watch I can remember wearing

You didn't have one of these?

Nice! I hear they are good cause they 'work' so don't worry about which model you get. They are all awesome. Heck, you don't even have to see it!
I'll take a grown up watch picture tomorrow with a CZ.

No offense, but that looks like the watch that this guy would wear.

lots of folks love the G-shocks, just not my thing. Kinda like glocks.

It's a nice cheaper style watch that can take abuse and is reliable. I can see the similarities.

Today is a dressier Fossil but you can wear it anywhere without worrying you'll scratch it.

Have the same model and yeah, it wasn't quite as tan as advertised it the picture.

Get some Rit dye, and you can make it whatever color you want...

The Casio watch / Glock analogy is perfect. They really are like the Glocks of watches.

Was never a glock or casio fan, but my Casio watches have assumed every day timekeeping duty.....and I now own 3 glocks for carry guns!
